Cathy Allman is a writer and educator with a master’s in creative writing from Manhattanville College. Cathy has spent decades participating in writing and creativity workshops and has synthesized her experience into the development of Writes of Passage, her workshops for writers. In addition to the programs at Writes of Passages, Cathy has led successful workshops at Greenwich, Connecticut, and Norwalk, Connecticut as well as Port Chester, NY, Bethesda, MD and Chicago, IL. Her work has appeared in many fine literary journals, including Edison Literary Review, Front Range Review, The Old Red Kimono, OVS, Pearl, Pisgah Review, Sanskrit, Talking River Review, and Terminus. Cathy Allman’s poetry workshops were always an inspiration for my students and a great change from their day-to-day work.
